According to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, adults who practice yoga has increased by 185% since 2002 yet at the same time, still only 8% of U.S. adults, approximately 18 million, use any form of meditation. When asked the biggest deterrent against trying yoga or meditation, most state they didn’t know how to start or didn’t have time to make it to the allotted class times. The goal of this thesis was to create an easy to understand and easy to use educational collection of products to guide the beginning yoga or meditation student on how to begin their own “practice”. Beginning a yoga or meditation “practice” is to mindfully start one’s own journey into how yoga and meditation can best suit their mind and body.
